Technical Information
Bolt simulator lights
The bolt, when installed does not move. It simulates the bolt position using lights.
A yellow light means the chamber is empty. It also means that the system is connected correctly.
A white light means that a round is in the chamber and is ready to be fired.
A blue light means that the BLE connection is being upheld while the magazine is out of the weapon.
When the magazine interface is removed the bolt has lost power, after 6 seconds the light will stop glowing, the bolt has run out of power and does not have any memory of previous settings or operations.

White light
Blue light
Red light
When the light turns red it means a stoppage has occoured.
To clear it recharge the faulty round.
If that does not work open up the lid, readjust the E-mag interface and pull the charging handle.
E-mag capacity
Magazine has 2000 rounds total, with 200 rounds at a time. Giving one E-mag a maximum of 10 fully reloads before it needs to be charged and reset.
Battery life and resetting
Currently the measurement of battery % left is based on amount of shots fired from a fully charged kit.
Quick Start
The quickstart section contains an image sequence to show the assembly into the M249.

Bolt Simulator: M249
Installing the bolt is easily done by sliding it into the slots in the M249.
After that is done, the trigger needs to be inserted into the E-blanks kit and the M249.
After everything has been mounted correctly, do a test of the charging rod to make sure it is sliding freely.
Fixing the trigger to M249 trigger
Muzzleflasher: M249
Insert the muzzle with rod attached into the barrel to match up with the bolt.
The bolt will move slightly, push it back again so that the bolt is positioned correctly.
Recoil Simulator: M249
To install the recoil buffer tube, make sure the M249 pin that holds the trigger mechanism in place is slightly pulled out but still holds the trigger.
Then put the buffer tube into the slots and push the pin in.
Insert the M249 recoil spring, then close up the back with the last pin to secure it in place.
When everything is closed up, test the recharging mechanism and the trigger mechanism to make sure nothing is stuck.
To install the recoil onto the buffer tube push the lever down and slide it over.
E-Mag: M249
Before installing the E-mag, make sure it is charged and turned on.
Then slide it into the M249 magazine lock, and put the interface belt on, and close the lid.
Make sure the interface is connected correctly.
Usage
TBD, in the meanwhile see Quick start Usage.
Charging
The charger has 3 charging ports and 1 data port. In the back there is a connection to mains power.
When charging you can use any of the charging ports.
Charging Adapter
To connect the E-mag to the charger via the USB C you need to use the M249 charging adapter
Charging the M249 E-mag
Connect the E-mag to the charger via the USB C.
During charging the port LED will glow green, when it is finished it will blink green.

The most important step in removing the bolt is to first remove the M249 trigger and the E-blanks trigger.
After that is done simply pull it out.
Muzzleflasher: M249
To remove the muzzleflasher, simply pull it out from the front of the barrel.
Recoil Simulator: M249
When removing the recoil simulator. you can hold the adjusting lever all the way down, this makes it possible to take it off the buffer tube.
To remove the buffer tube, simply push out the two pins holdng it in place.
To turn it off hold the diamond button in for 2 sec before releasing.
E-Mag: M249
To remove the E-mag, open the lid on the M249 and un-hook the interface belt.
Then release the magazine from the M249 magazine lock.
